As a psychologist I have received training in providing consultation at the organization level, facilitating conversations and providing training to workplaces on topics such as mental health, suicide prevention, stress management and self-care, and adapting to change. Even well-functioning organizations face challenges and can benefit from having an outside consultant help process with their staff what they are experiencing during those difficult times. In the case of organizations experiencing issues that are negatively impacting productivity and employee morale, I have a talent for quickly identifying underlying issues, such as employee dynamics, leadership challenges, or systemic barriers. As a consultant, it can be easier for employees in a tense workplace to trust and confide in me about their concerns, knowing that I am there to relay concerns to their leadership and work to resolve the issues.
